Crowns and Bridges
Dental Crowns

What are crowns?
A dental crown, often referred to as a “dental cap”, is a custom-made restoration that covers the visible portion of a damaged tooth above the gum line. Designed to match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth, it provides a seamless and natural appearance. Crowns are used for teeth that are broken, cracked, treated by root canal, stained, decayed, or misshapen. They can also support dental bridges, restore dental implants, and serve cosmetic purposes. Meticulously crafted, dental crowns blend with your natural teeth and are designed for long-lasting durability.
Why You Might Need a Dental Crown:
- Reinforce fragile, root canal treated teeth
- Restore cracked teeth
- Renew worn-down or fractured teeth
- Conceal heavily stained or discolored teeth
- Cosmetic Enhancement

Dental Bridges

What are Dental Bridges?
A dental bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by spanning the gap between adjacent teeth or dental implants. It consists of artificial teeth, called Pontics, supported by dental crowns attached to the neighboring natural teeth or implants.
Why Choose Dental Bridges?
The process of placing a dental bridge is quick and can typically be completed in two appointments.
The four steps to placing a dental bridge, including:
- Adjacent teeth will be prepared for crowns
- An impression will be taken/scanned and sent to a lab
- A temporary bridge will be placed
- After fabrication of your bridge, it will be cemented in place
After your bridge has been placed, we will teach you how to properly maintain and care for your new bridge. It’s important to note that while the process of receiving a dental bridge is simple, the process for an implant-supported bridge requires surgery and a few months of healing before the procedure can be completed.
